Essential duties
Safely pick up and deliver medical specimens, supplies, pharmaceuticals, records, and other authorized materials; follow assignment instructions; maintain required chain-of-custody and proof-of-delivery records; protect confidential information; communicate delays or incidents promptly; and follow Safeway Couriers safety, customer-site, and handling procedures.
Minimum qualifications
Valid driver's license when driving is required; ability to meet Safeway Couriers driving and background requirements for the assigned role; reliable communication and GPS capability; professional customer service; ability to follow time-sensitive written procedures; and ability to complete required onboarding and training before assignment.
Preferred qualifications
Medical courier, healthcare logistics, specimen transport, pharmacy delivery, route delivery, HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, HazMat/HMR, UN3373, chain-of-custody, or temperature-controlled shipment experience.
